As a Tax Partner, A.J. works with clients providing personal, corporate, and estate taxation advice specializing in owner-managed businesses. His experience includes purchase and sale planning, corporate reorganizations, business succession, and estate freezes, estate and will planning, compensation strategies for owner-managed businesses, and cross-border tax planning for business owners.
A.J. graduated from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree in 2004 and qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2006. Since, he has completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax program in 2009, the Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business course in 2011, and the Corporate Reorganizations course in 2015. A.J. joined DJB in November of 2013, having previously worked at one of the Big Four public accounting firms.
