Daniel L. Marissen

Dan’s area of practice is broad in scope. He provides valued assistance to clients in the areas of financing, general business consulting, and has significant experience in real estate transactions.

Dan qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 1979 after graduating from the University of Waterloo co-op program, with a Bachelor of Mathematics degree. He was a Partner in the firm of Heaton & Hassal prior to the 1985 merger with DJB. Currently, Dan retired as a Partner effective January 1, 2020 and now serves as a Consultant in the DJB Hamilton office.

His professional commitment includes past membership on the ICAO Appeals Committee, the ICAO Practice Inspection Committee, and the Applications Committee.
