Darryl Teutenberg



Darryl works out of DJB’s St. Catharines and Welland offices providing accounting, assurance, and financial consulting services to businesses and their owners. He has experience dealing with companies in a wide range of industries, including retail, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate, construction and not-for-profit. Darryl also assists owners preparing business plans and financial projections for start-up and/or financing purposes.

In addition to being on the Board of Directors of the Niagara Construction Association, Darryl is a member of the Finance Committee of the YMCA of Niagara.  He is also the Treasurer of the Bob Gale Recreation Fund and Past President of the Niagara District CPA Association.  Darryl has also volunteered as a coach for the Niagara North Stars Minor Hockey Association.

Darryl served as a member of the Firm’s Technical Committee for eight years followed by four years as a member of DJB’s Human Resources Committee before his appointment as the Partner-in-Charge of the Firm’s St. Catharines and Welland offices.  Darryl was also elected to the Firm’s Executive Committee in 2018, helping to set and shape the strategic direction of the Firm.

One of his personal highlights includes being the captain of the Niagara Falls Canucks when the team won the Ontario Junior B Hockey Championship in 1996.

Darryl qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2001, after graduating from Brock University in 1999, with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree. He was admitted to partnership in 2007.
