Emily Petro

Emily joined DJB in 2021 as a Senior Staff Accountant after beginning her career as a co-op student at a global accounting firm in 2017. She received her CPA designation in February 2023 and was promoted to Assurance Manager in January 2025. Emily provides accounting and assurance services to businesses across a variety of industries throughout the Niagara Region and surrounding areas. In addition to her client-focused work, she plays an active role in DJB’s campus recruitment initiatives for the St. Catharines office.

Emily graduated from Brock University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) degree with First Class Standing, followed by a Master of Accountancy degree in 2021. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a semester abroad at Aston University in England.

A lifelong Niagara resident, Emily enjoys staying active through hockey, golf, and a variety of other sports. She formerly served as Treasurer of the YWCA Niagara.
