Jeff Neill

Jeff works in general practice and has experience in providing business, financial, and tax consulting services to owner-managed businesses. This includes audit and assurance services to businesses throughout the Niagara Region. He has clients in all industries (construction, automotive, hospitality, professionals, retail, manufacturing, etc) and in the past has sat on the Firm’s construction niche.

Jeff is the chair of the Firm’s Information Technology Support Committee. In addition to this, he sits on the RSM Alliance North American Innovation Committee.

Jeff is currently the Treasurer of the Welland/Pelham Chamber of Commerce and has been on the Board of Directors since 2007, including being the President from 2014 to 2016 and Past-President from 2017 to 2019.

From 2006 to 2010, he served as Treasurer of the Niagara Food Festival and was the Chair of the Festival’s Finance Committee.

From 2007 to 2009, Jeff was a member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants Examination Committee, which sets the standards for the Ontario CPA professional exams. In addition, from 2004 to 2012 Jeff participated in marking practice exams for the CICA’s Uniform Final Evaluation and the Ontario School of Accountancy Exam.

In 2011, Jeff was a recipient of the Business Link “40 Under Forty” award.

Jeff qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2004, after graduating from Brock University the same year, with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree. He joined DJB in 1999, as a co-op student and began working full time in 2004. He was admitted to partnership in 2012.
