Manager
MAcc, CPA
PJ is a Manager in Taxation working in the Hamilton office. He works with personal, corporate, and estate compliance reporting, and tax planning, including corporate reorganizations. Areas of specialties include construction and real estate, as well as agribusiness within the Hamilton and Niagara regions.
PJ joined DJB as a co-op student in 2015 and became full-time in the fall of 2019, and was promoted to Manager, Tax in January 2023. He has also worked as a teaching assistant with Brock university for a number of years for both the Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Accountancy programs.
In 2016, PJ was admitted to Beta Gamma Sigma at Brock University, he completed his Bachelor of Accounting (Co-op) in 2018, and Master of Accountancy in 2019 from Brock University. He obtained his CPA designation in 2020. In July 2024, PJ completed the Chartered Professional Accountants Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program.
PJ is an active member of the community, he is a board member serving on the finance committee for the Master Bowlers Association of Ontario. He also participates in various fundraisers throughout the community (bowling, curling, golf, etc.) In his spare time, he is a competitive 5 pin bowler and has been playing since he was only 4 years of age. He is also a big fan of the NFL and loves to spend time with family.
