Mike completed his Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) degree from Brock University and obtained his Chartered Accountants designation in 2010. He was admitted into Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honours society for business programs accredited by AACSB International, in July 2008. Mike began his career as a co-op student in 2005, was promoted to Manager in 2013, and Senior Manager in 2019.
Mike works in general practice and has experience in providing business, financial, and tax consulting services to owner-managed businesses. This includes audit and assurance services to businesses in Welland and throughout the Niagara Region. He is currently a member of the Firm’s Construction and Real Estate Specialty Group and was previously on the Marketing Committee.
Mike invests a significant amount of time into community involvement. He is a past member of the Lookout Point Country Club Finance Committee. Mike was Treasurer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Niagara and Chair of the agency’s finance committee and also was an active member of the District School Board of Niagara audit committee. He regularly participates in charitable events in his community.
