Lynne joined DJB in 2019 after holding the position of Manager, Enterprise Tax in a Big 4 public accounting firm. She is a Senior Tax Manager in the Firm’s Hamilton office and works in the areas of tax compliance and tax planning for Canadian private companies, their shareholders, and other individuals. Lynne has a wide range of experience, including assisting clients with CRA matters (corporate, personal, payroll, among others), remuneration planning, estate planning, business consulting, personal/estate/trust tax compliance, and corporate reorganization tax planning. She has worked closely with Professional Corporations (including doctors, dentists, and other health professionals), investment holding companies, as well as companies in the industries of manufacturing and retail.
Lynne enjoys working closely with business owners to help them to achieve their business goals in a tax efficient manner.
Lynne qualified as a Chartered Professional Accountant in 2001, after graduating from Brock University’s Co-op Accounting program, with honours. She successfully completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax course in 2016, finishing on the top 10 list.
Lynne spends a lot of her free time giving back to the community by coaching various local hockey teams, donates her time and expertise by assisting with tax preparation for low-income individuals, and has also volunteered as Treasurer on the Board of several local non-profit organizations. She is also an avid hockey player and enjoys spending time with her family, including her three rescue dogs.
